A £760,000 competition to support and improve the way in which universities can maximise innovation has been launched by Intellectual Property Minister Baroness Wilcox.

The Great Jungle City Gathering on 29 September at the National Museum of Scotland, was where the Edinburgh Science Triangle bid farewell to the orangutan they had sponsored for the past six weeks.

The NC3Rs has launched its new open innovation programme, CRACK IT, with an initial £4.25 million of funding.

The new £100m campus is being officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal.

The orangutan with bagpipes, sponsored by Edinburgh Science Triangle, has now taken up temporary residence at the National Museum of Scotland – also the home of Dolly the sheep!
